Director, Events
Jeremy Houston has 10 years of experience in venue management, event sales, and operations. After beginning his career in San Francisco, he relocated to New York City, where he has helped produce a wide range of events, from conferences and product launches to brand activations and private gatherings. He enjoys partnering with clients to bring creative ideas to life while ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish. Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys planning his next adventure, whether exploring a new city nearby or traveling abroad, staying active, and experiencing all that New York City has to offer.

Haley Scott
Manager, Events
Haley Scott is originally from Wilmington, Delaware and graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Marketing Management. During her time there, she served as Director of Lifetime Management for Tri Delta, where she planned alumni events and supported alumni relations. After graduating, Haley moved to New York City to pursue a career in events, first working as an Events and Marketing Coordinator for a nonprofit focused on cancer research before joining THE PENN DISTRICT team, where she supported event sales and operations. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the Jersey Shore, spending time with friends and family, and trying new restaurants around the city.

Daniel Martinez
Vice President, Hospitality
Daniel is a seasoned hospitality executive with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. With a career spanning some of the industry’s most prestigious brands, Daniel began his journey at Disney and W Hotels before transitioning to Denihan Hospitality, where he oversaw restaurant and bar operations while managing partnerships with renowned celebrity chefs, including Daniel Boulud, Geoffrey Zakarian, Art Smith, and David Burke.
As the hospitality industry evolved to meet the needs of modern workplaces, Daniel joined Convene, successfully opening and operating multiple properties as General Manager of the Midtown West portfolio. Today, as Vice President of Hospitality at Vornado, he leads the WorkLife amenity program, enhancing workplace experiences through innovative hospitality solutions.
Beyond his professional achievements, Daniel is a proud father of three and has a deep passion for music and fitness.

Will Erwin
Director, Hospitality
Will joined Vornado in 2024 as the Director of Hospitality, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for creating exceptional WorkLife experiences. Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Will studied theater before making the move to New York, where he built a dynamic career in the hospitality industry. With over a decade of experience, he began in hotels, managing operations for The Standard and Moxy Hotel Groups, before expanding into the fitness industry and later the co-working revolution with WeWork. Now at Vornado, Will helps lead the WorkLife ethos, and amenity programs, ensuring that every workplace moment is as engaging as it is seamless.
Outside of work, he enjoys writing his own music and traveling with his husband and their three dogs.

Yasmin Lazo
PENN DISTRICT Coordinator, Hospitality
With 25 years at Vornado, Yasmin has dedicated her career to creating exceptional hospitality-driven environments. For 21 years, she led PowerSpace & Services as General Manager, shaping high-end, service-driven workspaces that prioritized tenant experience. Now, as PENN DISTRICT Coordinator, she plays a key role in leasing efforts, operations, and the WorkLife hospitality experience across the district. Hospitality is at the core of Yasmin’s approach, she believes it’s not just about service but about building lasting relationships!
Outside of work, Yasmin lives on the South Shore of Long Island with her husband, three children, and her Labradoodle, Posty — named after Post Malone.

Abdou Njie
Hospitality Ambassador
Abdou is a seasoned professional whose diverse career spans journalism, law, and hospitality. With 11 years of experience as a journalist in The Gambia—covering a wide range of life’s spheres and traveling extensively for work—he also pursued a three-year stint in law, fueling his deep passion for maritime law. Since relocating to the United States, Abdou has built his expertise in retail and security, notably working for five years with GMSC, a subsidiary of Vornado Realty Trust, before transitioning to the hospitality team in January 2025, where he ensures that all tenants and guests of THE PENN DISTRICT experience the very best of the WorkLife ethos. Beyond his professional pursuits, he dedicates time to helping his family settle into their new life in the U.S. and nurtures his love for reading and writing, having published his poetry collection, “Voices From Within,” in 2012.

Lobby Ambassador
Kenton joined Vornado in 2019, starting as a security guard before transitioning into his current role as Lobby Ambassador in 2021. Originally from Augusta, Georgia, he brings over a decade of teaching experience and 20 years of leadership in music education, fostering strong community engagement and hospitality skills. At the forefront of WorkLife hospitality, Kenton enhances tenant experiences with his ability to create a seamless and welcoming environment. Beyond his professional role, he is a passionate creative, enjoying music, photography, and carpentry, and co-runs an interior design business with his wife, blending artistry with functionality.
